After 9 months of not moving a single muscle, I tried to run. That was 2 days ago, I think. I almost gave up exercising because everything hurt so badly. Not even my favorite tae-bo cardio work-out went good. Yesterday evening, I was tired after 5 minutes and already knowing I had only two options: keep working and pushing myself, though with every passing minute it all seemed in vain, or drop out my weight loss battle and go eat some cake my mom cooked.
I followed my mom’s invitation and took a good piece of cake, came back to my computer and started wandering on youtube, since it was clear I was not to continue pushing myself. That’s when I found: this. There are four videos of 40 minutes of walking/marching/moving nonetheless. No need to say, I got up, I took the piece of cake back to it’s mother - the cake itself, I worked out and went happily to sleep.
Now, I don’t know how effective is this. In comparison with a full cardio work-out, I don’t think the number of calorie loss is that big, though i sweat a lot, but it helped me move my legs, my arms, my muscles without a tremendous, painful effort. It’s more than sitting in front of my computer, tugging in cake.

- School’s done. I’ve passed my exams. Time to lose some weight, for this autumn I’ll go to university. I see all this new school thing as a new beginning. Let’s say that college was not a very happy place since I was always sad, miserable, depressed aso because of how I looked. I want to make of the university the best experience of my life and I honestly don’t think it’d be possible in my current condition.
- Therefore, I started working out. My favorite training can be found here. I worked with this last year too and I just loved it. Well, last year I was 20 pounds lighter so it was easier. Now, I find it exhausting. I tried to run, too. After 5 minutes I couldn’t breathe and my chest was hurting. So, I gave up and stuck with my cardio. I’ll try running later.
- My diet is…simple. I tried applying some Paleo principles, so I eat vegetables and fruits, meat and eggs. I drink at least 2l of water daily.
Hopefully this will work.
It’s long since I’ve been here. I’m taking my final exams this month. God knows how much I want to be over with it. All my fears and panic creep out from some hidden place in my mind, and being still fat doesn’t help at all.
See you in a month!
